Grand Traverse County

Grand Traverse County - 18"x24" or 24"x32

The most heavily populated county in the northern Lower Peninsula, Grand Traverse County is centered around the resort town of Traverse City, the county seat, but the adjacent townships of Acme, Garfield and Long Lake actually host more of the population. Both the East and West Arms of Grand Traverse Bay and the emblematic Old Mission Peninsula are pictured in their entirety, as is most of the Boardman River Valley. Grand Traverse County also features many lakes, such as Long Lake, Green Lake, Duck Lake, Silver Lake, Fife Lake, Spider Lake and the Arbutus Lake basin. Much of the shore of Elk Lake falls within Grand Traverse, and the proximity of Lake Leelanau makes Traverse City a quick drive. Lest we forget, Grand Traverse also contains the small towns of Kingsley, Fife Lake and Interlochen.
